How to use AI in your studies
From 1 February 2024, you can use Microsoft Copilot, an AI assistant that can offer you new opportunities and challenges.
With Copilot, you can
- Search for relevant information on the web or in databases
- Summarise texts
- Generate natural language texts
- Express mathematical problems in plain language
- Discover new ways to solve problems through examples and explanations
Your responsibility
Please note that you are responsible for checking which tools are allowed in each course you take. While Copilot can provide support and inspiration, it should not replace your own work. Always cite the materials you use and follow the rules.
Data protection and regulations
Copilot is part of BTH’s Microsoft license and offers higher data protection than other similar services. When you’re logged in with your BTH account and using Copilot, your personal data is safeguarded.
To use Copilot, log in with your BTH account and adhere to specific rules and guidelines to protect your own and others’ privacy and security. Please note that there is no support for the tool. Learn more about Microsoft 365 and Copilot.
You can also join our lunch lecture and learn how you can use AI in your studies.
Please note that the lecture is in Swedish.
