Lithium-ion batteries intended for transportation or lithium-ion batteries larger than 10 Ah are not allowed to be charged or stored within BTH premises. This means that batteries from electric bicycles or electric scooters cannot be brought into the university’s facilities.

Feel free to park your electric bicycle or electric scooter in our bike racks. All of the university’s bike racks provide the opportunity to securely store your bike under cover. Some bike racks also offer battery charging facilities, such as the one located outside building G (to the right of the reception).

Smaller batteries, such as those found in phones, are not affected.
