Alternative form of assessment
Alternative form of assessment
The examiner/course director will determine whether you are entitled to an alternative form of assessment. The coordinator gives recommendations for adjustments to be made. The recommendations are based on a conversation with the student to identify their needs, and a certificate supporting the student’s claim of a permanent disability.
- Examples of alternative forms of assessment:
- Extended time for assessment
- Assessment in small groups or in a private room
- Oral exams/oral supplementary assessment
- Assessment with the help of a computer/adapted computer
- Split session exams
If you have registered for an exam and are no longer able to attend, please contact the examiner immediately via email at tentamen@bth.se. All students are assessed on the basis of the same knowledge requirements, regardless of the form of assessment. The learning outcomes for the course must be achieved in order to pass.
