Information from Vice-Chancellor

Dear student,

As you know, we plan to gradually increase the campus presence during the fall and I wish you a warm welcome back! Towards this, it is of great importance that everyone who does not have any special hinders make sure to get their two doses of vaccine as soon as possible. If you do not yet have your two shots, you should contact a health care center to get it, also if you already had the first one. The closest one is “Wämö vårdcentral”,  phone +46 455 73 54 30. Telephone hours: 07:30-16:30 Monday-Friday. There are plenty of available time slots!

To get the vaccine is a responsibility that we all have, to stop the spreading of the corona virus, which now seems to increase again, and thus to enable a quick return to the (new) normal. Perhaps lectures in really big groups will always be digital in the future, but the vast majority of teaching activities for campus-based programs should of course be on campus. We will not in the near future be able to guarantee an environment completely free of virus, so besides getting vaccinated, I also want you to take your personal responsibility and follow recommendations concerning keeping distance, washing or disinfecting your hands, stay home by any cold symptoms etcetera.

You bring life to our campus – welcome!
